This is a one-week project I did during my intern at Nike. The purpose of this project is to experiment with some new forms for the future Nike app. The whole app deploys a minimal visual language and tries to put all the emphasis on the products themselves.
The interface is based on a modular grid system. I want to keep a clean and modern feeling throughout the app. I eliminate extra decorations to make the products more prominent. The modular grid system still provides plenty of opportunities to create diversity and dynamic.
The new nike app will personalize the landing page according to users' preference and purchase history.
A changeable product preview wall is another major feature. In order to create a better browsing experience, the app provides users with three different size options, which allows users to adjust according to their preference.
The recommendation feature is inspired by pinterest. Every product has a white circle on the top left. By tapping the circle, the system will automatically pull out similar products to recommend to the users.
In the product details page, users can click the style guide to view different matchings, by which nike's products can be more exposed to the targeted audience.
